Sculpture's size

Yeah... this is my proudly made fish... I suck cooking... or this fish sucks being cooked, I'm not sure which one is the right one... They were 3 pieces, big and looked tasty... after cooking, they reduced more than half the size and not look tasty at all, although they WERE tasty!

Adriana (she is Venezuelan but she doesn't know too much about Mate, she kept trying to stir it... no no Adri, no touchy), she also got burnt... It's hot!

and Alex, Adriana's boyfriend... another Canadian trying Mate... liked it too, right? He kept comparing it with tea... yeah... but it's MATE! He was also distracted by the boobies in the Image Bank catalogue... jeez.

Movie Nights

This is from our first movie night (with this group). It was at Ian's house, and he took this pics in his awesome-hair-drier-chair that he has in his living room. We watched one of my favourite argentinian movies: 9 Queens (or 9 Reinas). I totally recomend it!

ART hurts, LOVE hurts, WEATHER hurts

Yeah... they DO...

Today I started chiselling my sculpture as you can see below... everything is awesome except that I hammered my finger 10 times... so now IT HURTS! plus I can barely bend it... ouch!

You can actually see the finger getting all swollen here...

The left finger should look like the right one...

And then while cooking (I should stop cooking) I burnt my finger... so the yellow thing I have in my right hand finger its medicine for burns... anything else? Yeah... the blue thing on my right hand is just ink.

And stupid weather and the stupid ice on the floor made me slip and almost fall sooo many times! I have to give one point to the weather... thanks to the snow I collected from the floor my finger is not that swollen... cause I put it on ice! (well, snow in this case)... thats the only good thing... but you have to hurt yourself for the weather to be helpful in some way. Other than that... I hate it. It sucks walking on the street, you eat a lot of snow, you get into windy swirls of snow, it gets into your eyes, your (at least mine) headphones fall all the time cause your ears are so frozen that they reject the earplugs, and the floor is all slipery and you have to walk like a penguin not to fall (smart guys those).

Anyway... me no like it too much, but now its too late to modify it, I have only one class left and that's it. I was supposed to work today on it... but the chiselling took forever... and it HURT...

*sobs*

By the way... I should have taken the pics from another p.o.v... the perspective sucks and it makes it look all weird (plus it doesn't have the best proportions in the world... so it doesn't help either)

The best scare of my life -by Tony

This is the drawing that Tony-bad son-Truong did of the day he and Mike scared the hell out of KT and me (luckily I don't suffer of any heart problems)... I think he captured the moment perfectly. Good job Tony! (man! he even got my sport shoes properly!... that's attention to detail!)

FIRST Halloween in Ottawa

Hello everyone! This is my first post... ohhh so exciting! I went to visit my friends in Ottawa, KT, Mike, Andrea and Tony. We drove with Steve (Andrea's boyfriend)... well, I drove, he just relaxed. It was an awesome weekend, I had my FIRST real Halloween... I did some pumpkin carvings at Gerry's (KT's boyfriend) with all the animation guys. There we watched Amerytville Horror, my first official-really-scary movie. And after that I got the best scare of my life (actually, it was KT and me who got scared) and thanks to my dear Mike and Tony (bad son). It was perfect! And I also watched my second-official-MORE-scary-I-hate movie... The Ring, which had a big impact on me... I'm possessed now... mua ha ha ha haaaaaaa
